Gooooooooooooo VANDY

One of our favorite family activities is going to the Vanderbilt games. This is our second season to do this together as a family. The girls have fun cheering for the players and watching the band and cheerleaders. Here are Mikayla - Cason - Meredith before the game - obviously Cason cheers for a diferent team! - we still love him! Family picture before the game! Meredith entertains herself during the game by practicing her letters

This is what your hair looks like after cheering in the humitity - we call this crazy hair!!

Sarah came to town

The first weekend in September we were lucky enough to be visited by Sarah. She was one of our youth in Georgia and is now a junior in college. She was also one of the first people to babysit the girls when they were babies. The girls still remember Sarah and always love it when she comes to visit.

Sarah and the girls making their silly faces!

Danielle - Sarah - Mikayla - Meredith - they were a train! Choo Choo!!

Cubbies

So in August the girls got to start going to Cubbies on Wednesday nights. This was a big deal cause it meant they were big girls. Each week AWANA has theme nights - here is a picture from Tie Dye night. The girls got together to make their shirts(really the moms made the shirts and the girls played -it was also the hottest day of the month and were outside) Each week the girls have to learn a Bible verse. I wasn't sure they could really do this but they do and they also remember the verses from the previous weeks. I am so proud of them. They are growing up - but they are making me so proud.

Fishes and Putt Putt

This weekend we had the chance to visit the Aquarium. The girls loved it! They looked at all the fishes and sharks and even tried to count the fish - after a while they decided there were too many to count. After the aquarium we played putt putt with Nana and Poppy. It was a lot of fun. The girls enjoyed trying to putt and they liked all the animals.
